After one year, Bryan Adams is back to us. He and his band were yesterday in Antwerp.
8.30 PM: Support Act onstage (Black Daniel) .
I didn't know them but it was really cool. They were pretty good and it was fun. I really enjoyed listening to them.
9.30 PM: Tonight We Have The Stars...
Bryan first started alone on a small stage which was in the middle of the crowd.
After 2 songs he joined the band on the main stage and started to play all his great rockin' stuff... Best Of Me, Somebody, Back To You, Kids Wanna Rock (jeez, what a guitar solo), Summer Of 69, Heaven, Cuts Like A Knife, It's Only Love, Everything I Do, When You're Gone (where he always choose a girl from the crowd to sing with him), Cloud n°9, Run To You, 18 till I Die, The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me Is You, Hearts On Fire, and many more (I'm trying to remember the right setlist).
After two hours of pure rock n' roll, Adams ended the show alone with his acoustic guitar singing Straight From The Heart (video ©Jovilover) and All For Love.
Very good concert yesterday, one of the best's Bryan Adams concerts I've ever seen (maybe because I was really close, I don't know).
But I think he could sing more different songs... they often perform the same songs and we're not really surprised anymore. That's maybe the only thing I can blame to Bryan Adams. He has so much stuff....
And an other thing, we always speak about Bryan Adams but he's not alone on stage. The guitarist Keith Scott is simply amazing (his solo's are outstanding) and the rest of the band is really good too.
The best moments: Kids Wanna Rock (the solo was unbelievable, they made their guitars cry and laugh, that was fantastic), The Only Thing That Looks Good On Me, Somebody, Summer Of 69', 18 till I Die, Cuts Like A Knife and Straight, Somebody, It's Only Love,...
One song I can't stand anymore is Cloud N9 - Yark !
Otherwise Bryan was in a very good mood and really amazing onstage like always.
I've seen them several times now and I've never been disappointed. He always gives the best of him that's for sure.
Thanks to the Canadian Boss and to the rest of the band !
Great job guys !
