Yesterday I saw Leonard Cohen and his fabulous musicians for the first time.
I have to admit I was a little bit scared to get "bored" or to fall "asleep" 'cause it's not really my music's style... it's way too calm for me. But as I'm in love with his voice I didn't want to miss that and I was right ! I really liked it.
What an evening and unforgetable concert. It was a magical moment, 3 hours full of emotions.
Cohen was kind, charming, so generous and respectfull with his musicians and the public. He was funny and poignant at time.
His golden voice gives us shivers and sometimes can also bring a few tears to our eyes.
Yesterday his voice was amazing from the first to the last note. A moment that no can forget. It was so powerful !
The concert was divided into two parts:
First part about 1h then a break of 20 minutes followed and the second part lasted 1h30.
The spoiled us with a very good and long setlist... Dance With e To The End Of Love, The Future, Closing Time , Ain't No Cure For Love, Anthem, Bird On A Wire, Who BY Fire, Hallelujah, Heart With No Companion, Suzanne, Take This Waltz, In My Secret Life, So Long Marianne, I'm Your Man, If It Be Your Will, Everybody Knows, Anthem, Democracy, Tower Of Song (one of my favorites), ...
"I was born like this, I had no choice
I was born with the gift of a golden voice
And twenty-seven angels from the great beyond
They tied me to this table right here
In the tower of song" L. Cohen
