Madness was in Brussels yesterday for an one-shot concert.
Jeez - what a show ! It was totally crazy but soooo good !Everybody went there to have fun, dance and spend a good time and I think we all enjoyed the show.
The band was fantastic on stage and in a good mood. Smash is so classy with his English style and the musicians are excellent.
The stage set-up was simple but cool with some great lights-effect which were very nice.
They entered the stage with Night Boat To Cairo and everybody went insane and started to jump and scream, it was really crazy !!
The setlist was good, they only played about 90 minutes but they did a good mix between their good old songs and a few new ones.
We could hear The Prince, Baggy Trousers, Embarrasement, House Of Fun, Our House, My Girl, It Must Be Love, Grey Day, NW5, Madness,... and of course the famous One Step Beyond. But by the way, what did they do to that song "One Step Beyond"? Gosh they played the song without its amazing intro "Hey you, don't watch that, watch this,...." They only screamed One Step Beyond, played the song and that's all !! Damn' it !
That's the only thing I regret, otherwise the concert was great and I think we've been very lucky to have them here, in Belgium as they only toured for a few dates.
As I was standing in the "jumping" crowd it was hard to take pictures they're all blurry, DAMNED... !

Well what could I add... maybe a small comment about the support act. A Belgian band called The Moon Invaders; very good band and nice live performance. Good warm-up before M.A.D.N.E.S.S !
Now I'm completely mad !
