Stand By Me

Bon Jovi joins exiled Iranian singer Andy Madadian in a song to show solidarity with the Iranian people. We like anything Bon Jovi does, but we're really loving that he took the time to create this amazing song.

It's a new version of Ben E. King's "Stand By Me," and Bon Jovi even duets in Farsi with Andy Madadian in the first verse! According to the song's co-producer, Don Was, the song was the result of a conversation he had with Madadian about "whether there was something we could do just to send out a little message of solidarity, remembering the '60s, believing music can change things."

So, the two went to the recording studio and saw Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, and John Shanks having lunch outside. Was told them what they were doing and Jon Bon Jovie said, "Look, man, if you do it right now we'll do it with you." And so they did.

It's a duet between Bon Jovi and Madadian, who has been living in the U.S. since the Iranian Revolution of 1970. Joining them on the song is Richie Sambora on guitar, Was on bass, Patrick Leonard on keyboards, and Jeff Rothchild on drums.

According to Was, "We just cut it and the video is the session. It took about four hours and just fell into place nicely."

The song is not for sale and Was says it was never meant to even hit the Billboard charts. They created the song to be downloaded and shared by the people of Iran and as Was says, "The whole idea was to get it into Iran and tell them...to carry on, that the world is watching and we're with you."

It's a Jersey thing !

New Jersey is bordered by New York and on the east by the Atlantic Ocean.
The Jersey Shore is home to many world-famous boardwalks in towns including Asbury Park, Atlantic City, ...

Asbury Park is home of famous The Stone Pony, which Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi frequented early in their careers and is still considered by many to be a "Mecca" for up-and-coming Jersey Shore musicians.

Bruce Springsteen, who has sung of New Jersey life on most of his albums, hails from Freehold and is the most popular rock musician to ever come out of the state.
Some of his songs that represent New Jersey life are "Born to Run", "Spirit In The Night", "Rosalita (Come Out Tonight)", "Thunder Road", "Atlantic City," and "Jungleland",... and the beautiful cover "Jersey Girl".

Jon Bon Jovi hails from Sayreville. And Bon Jovi has also written many songs about life in New Jersey including "Livin' On A Prayer" and even named one of his albums after the state !

"You wouldn't understand - It's a Jersey thing" JBJ

Tour and an even greater ten nights on his The Rising Tour during the summer of 2003. Springsteen returned to Giants Stadium on July 27, 28 and 31, 2008 in support of his Magic Tour.

Babies are Rock Stars

Tico Torres - The reason we stand here today with this collection: With Bon Jovi from the beginning - a respected artist not only as a musician, drummer - but also in the world of arts, painting & sculpture. His profession has taken him all over the world attending many events & fashion shows of all kinds. He noticed all the cool parents but the kid’s all looked the same - nothing new. He felt that something was missing – something different.

Later on, the rest of the band members were having kids themselves the subject started many discussions. All pastels - is not something that everybody wants and so....
Rock Star Baby was born.

With good quality, timeless cuts in mind a collection was created. A product that like the band, the arts can out last fashion - still remaining very cool. A little time has passed since then – Tico became a proud father last year. He is very much a family man.

With the success of the clothing came the natural addition of jewellery. The Rock Star Baby pieces are made of 925 Sterling Silver - all produced in Germany.
We work closely with dedicated silver smiths who turn an idea literally into silver. Care is taken to give each piece a quality feel, touch and character. A piece we hope you will choose to be a part of your personal collection. The pieces have already become favourites of Tico and the band - Rock Star Baby is officially - on the road...

Springsteen & Bon Jovi

"Glory Days" are here again for Bruce Springsteen, whose upcoming tour could make him the biggest touring artist of the year in North America.
Springsteen and his E Street Band, who kicked off the second leg of their North American tour in New Jersey on Sunday, will vie for the crown with fellow Garden State rockers Bon Jovi and country singer Kenny Chesney, according to Pollstar magazine.
Each artist should end the year with ticket sales of about $70 million.
