To mark World Environment day 2009 Alliance Francais and Wellington City Council are pleased to present Home, a film by Yann Arthus-Bertrand.

In Home Yann brings us unique footage from over 50 countries, all seen from the air, in a thrilling paean to planet Earth that challenges the viewer to consider environmental issues.

Wellingtonians will remember Arthus-Bertrand from his stunning Earth from Above Exhibition at Waitangi Park in 2006.

The film is in French with English Subtitles, and best of all is free is so come along!

Chicken lips & lizard hips

Brussels has been Bad To The Bone

What a show! I had never seen the Destroyers live but I've been waiting for this concert for so long.It was amazing, this guy is a great showman, very cool on stage. He was smiling all the time, joked and played with the fans.

The stage set-up was clear and very classy. Large stage with a rock/blues background with some animations on the big screen.
They offered us a very good show with an awesome setlist (only 1h30 though) ...
